A rare and highly unusual offering: A quartz matrix specimen containing a significant quantity of native gold, discovered by the MC Watters Mines located in Val-d'Or, Quebec. The total mass of the specimen is 410.92 grams, with an estimated gold content of 3.87 troy ounces (120.26 grams). An official evaluation was conducted on May 11, 2000, by chemist Monique Gervais and geologist Marc Ducharme. This remarkable specimen originates from the personal collection of Mr. Sirois. An unusual and highly desirable piece, it holds strong appeal for both collectors and investors alike. It is the first time our firm has had the privilege of offering such a spectacular and sought-after item. Undoubtedly, a truly exceptional and rare highlight. Accompanied by its original certificate of authenticity. Items of this nature are seldom encountered in the marketplace. Combining geological significance, intrinsic precious metal value, and numismatic interest through its associated certificate, this specimen stands as a highly desirable acquisition for both advanced collectors and investors.

1911-12 Gem Specimen Set With Gold, 1¢-$10 in Original Red Leather Case, From a ...

1911-12 Gem Specimen Set With Gold, 1¢-$10 in Original Red Leather Case, From a Reported Mintage of Just Five Sets, ICCS Certified Specimen-64 to Specimen-66. An incredibly rare offering, the 1911-12 double dated specimen set is a classic and celebrated rarity, with a reported mintage of a mere five sets. Although it appears the reported mintage of five sets may be slightly conservative, the total amount of issued sets is still very few with the recipients of such sets being very selective. With many of the known sets being broken up and sold piecemeal over the years, a complete set still in the original box is a truly remarkable opportunity worthy of serious attention. The grades are as follows: 1¢ Gem Specimen-65 Red, 5¢ Superb Gem Specimen-66, 10¢ Superb Gem Specimen-66, 25¢ Gem Specimen-65, Gold Sovereign/1£ Near Gem Specimen-64, $5 Superb Gem Specimen-66, $10 Superb Gem Specimen-66. The one-cent piece possesses nearly full original mint red luster, highly desirable as such, while the silver issues share an original and nicely matched deep original tone. The three gold pieces possess incredible eye appeal, with their silky mint luster swirling throughout rich golden surfaces, the devices fully impressed with every miniscule detail showing. The ten dollar gold piece in particular has a beautiful light rim tone, which is most beautiful and highly original. This set is a once in a lifetime find and an incredible opportunity for any collector.

1920 1¢ "Small" PCGS SPECIMEN-64. A truly extraordinary Canadian numismatic treasure, this 1920 small Cent Specimen represents the very first year of the series and is the only certified Specimen example known from this date across all grading services. Its rarity is matched only by its striking visual presence: full, vibrant red coloration envelopes both sides of the satin-textured planchet, while the deeply impressed, sharply defined design commands immediate attention. The coin’s exceptional strike, lustrous satin finish, and richly preserved surfaces place it at the pinnacle of conditionally rare Canadian coinage, bordering on gem quality. Its presentation is nothing short of spectacular—potentially unique—and it embodies both historical importance and aesthetic brilliance, making it a must-have centerpiece for the discerning collector. Ex. Blay Collection.
