Vintage Documents; Great Britain Indenture dated 1879-1880 - a superb example of a form of legal contract referencing a debt or purchase obligation between two parties. A nice colourful large 4 page document hand made 45 X33 cm, with 4 red wax seal, stamps and silver foil over tax seal. Original genuine collector item! Somewhat stained at bottom.

Vintage Document; Born around 1650, Jacques de Meulles became intendant of New France, he was a renowned explorer who fought against the Iroquois who sought to drive the French out of the west of the colony, and to develop trade with the English trading posts. Inturn it is he who invented an ingenious system, CARD MONEY to pay his troops, a system which became the first paper money of the Americas. This particular document is a piece of Canada & France History, it was signed 8 November 1684 by Jacques De Meulles, Seigneur of La Source, Chevalier, Intendant of New France (1682–1686). Difficult and rare issue to attribute a price as on a historical level it seems priceless and possibly unique.
